Staycation
On Friday, January 26, 2018, the Infant Department held its annual Staycation activity. Children prepared for their visit by making their own passports, flight tickets, and lists of what they want to pack for the staycation. They brought to school their packed bags and snacks to eat on the plane. The country that they 'visited' was Canada. The children learned many things about Canada: the National anthem, national sport, flower, bird, animal, and traditional food. They also learned how to locate this country on a world map and how to check-in at the airport and go through security. They even listened to the in-flight safety video. After their plane ride, they carried out some activities related to the country they visited. They even made a booklet about Canada.
