SABIS® SUN Hosts Open Day
On May 5, 2018, SABIS® SUN held its annual “Open Day” for all members of the community to get acquainted with the school, staff, academic sessions, and activities. For this day, students, staff, and administration prepared a variety of activities for the visitors. There were informative sessions for parents, a tour of the school, and academic sessions in classes based on fun activities and teamwork. Parents had a chance to see their children sitting for a Preplist session, writing AR exams, being involved in science projects, working in the art class, taking language lessons, preparing for exams, participating in a chess competition, and being part of a P.E. lesson. Students also went on stage demonstrating their dancing and singing skills. Parents as well as students had fun on the soccer field with bouncing castles and inflatable balls rolled across the field. The Robotics and Engineering team prepared fun activities for students. In addition, there was a display of wonderful “Farms” that students prepared with their parents, making rockets, and parachutes. Disneyland cartoon figures brought more life to the day by dancing with kids and parents on the field.
