SABIS® SUN Hosts Open Day
On April 29, 2017, SABIS® SUN International School ─ Baku, held an Open Day for the public to get acquainted with the school, staff, students, academic sessions, and activities.
For this day, students, staff, and administration prepared a variety of activities for visitors. There were several informative sessions for parents and a tour of the school and classrooms where academic sessions were held. Parents had a chance to observe their children’s performance and the role of prefects during an academic lesson. A Spelling Bee was among the interesting competitions in which students took part in. The Science Fair, which was organized by students, also proved to be a great success.
Parents got the chance to observe their children reading in the library and carrying out Sentence Project assessments in the ITL® room. In addition, parents watched proudly as students demonstrated their singing and dancing abilities on the school stage. Furthermore, parents and students had fun playing on the soccer field, on the bouncing castle, and in big, inflatable balls which were rolled across the field.
