Gratitude is the Best Attitude Project
The SLO® Outreach Department organized a “gratitude project” at school to make sure that all the staff at school were recognized and appreciated for their work. The first part of the project included thanking the bus drivers who took students to school and back home safely. Grade 7 and 8 prefects prepared “thank you” cards, bus poster, made homemade cookies, and invitation cards to invite bus drivers to attend. Students gave “thank you” speeches and expressed their gratitude for the hard work the drivers did since early morning. To keep good memories of this day, students took a photo with all bus drivers.
