Discovering McDonalds kitchen and trip to Ceramic Factory
On April 15, 2017, SABIS® SUN students in Grade 3 enjoyed two trips. First, the students discovered the kitchen of McDonalds, a favorite restaurant for many of the kids. On this trip, students learned where the hamburgers are kept, how French fries are cooked, and met the many friendly workers. They were also served Happy Meals and balloons as well as took a picture with the workers to keep as a memory.
Second, the students went a long way to visit the Ceramic Factory. At the Ceramic factory the director showed the students the pottery making machine and let all the students try and make their own. Then they saw clay making machines, plate forming equipment, and students watched how artists carefully painted on the plates. Students were also given clays to form different shapes out of and take home to show their parents. At the end, students left with little tea cups with colorful decoration and national ornaments on it as souvenir of their trip.
