Bullying Prevention Campaign
On September 23, 2016, grades 7 and 9 prefects held a campaign in the KG Department to teach about and prevent students from bullying. During the campaign, the prefects explained to students about being nice, friendly, and taking care of one another. To better explain bullying, the prefects did role playing exercises in front of the young students. At the end, they took a friendly picture for the memory of this day.
At a later date, on September 29, 2016, prefects did another project on bullying prevention for higher grades based on how to make a difference in each other’s lives. Each student was given paper hands to write their ideas about how to be different, make a positive impact, and be the reason for someone’s smile. The results were colorful and interesting from grades 5 to 9 and the hands were used to make a big poster of the campaign.
