A Visit to a Paper Recycling Factory
On January 13, 2018, Grade 6 to Grade 8 students were taken to ‘Xirdalan Karton’ factory to observe the process of making cardboards from the recycled papers. The representative of the factory explained the ways all the equipment worked and the responsibilities of each of the workers. Our students planned to send all used boxes at school to the recycling factory. They helped workers pack ready orders into the boxes using glue to prepare cookie boxes and cleaned up unnecessary paper pieces from the boxes. They enjoyed helping the workers and by this way appreciated their effort. At the end of the visit, the factory owner shared presents with our students which made their day.
